"You recognize a good song, if it sounds good being played just on the piano."

(David Bowie)

PROGNOSTIC unplugged - an acoustic tribute to Prog Rock

When Eric Clapton opened the concert series "MTV Unplugged" in 1992, one could not have guessed what influence he would have on the international music scene with this acoustic version. In addition to various genres, this type of performance has now reached the Progressive Rock scene: Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Genesis, Kansas, Peter Gabriel, etc. in living room volume and yet played with a high level of energy – does that work? And how it works!

The challenge to reduce the songs to the essentials and to develop them completely new using exclusively analogue means brought us a new perspective: in spite of Spartan instrumentation, the program presented by us on large stages with high technical effort does not lose its fascination. On the contrary, once you remove the shell, like with a fruit, the true quality of the composition appears.

The result: music from an epoch whose songs and new styles are still effective today. And even the complex formations of the prog rock shine in the acoustic garb with new timbres. Music that radiates maximum intensity even in instrumental minimalism.

PROGNOSTIC unplugged - more than just a concert!

And if you want,

we even bring our music

into the intimacy

of your living room!

You don't believe this is grooving? Check it out!
